SALON OWNER – DIRECTOR & MASTER STYLIST With more than 30 years' experience in the industry, Sandie took over ownership of Charleys in 2015, after working alongside the original team for over 8 years. She has made some additions to her team and some Major changes to the salon. Sandie is also a Qualified Educator and with over 20 years teaching experience including at our local college Petroc for over 18 years.
Charleys now holds Centership with VTCT ! Meaning Sandie can deliver certificated courses from Charleys This title enables ~Sandie to run a GCSE based VTCT Level 2 14-16 programme from the salon on Mondays working along side Braunton community College, This gives young learners at school level an opportunity to achieve a Hair and Beauty Qualification at GCSE level a great progression route leading to further education or apprenticeship within the Industry . Sandie continually keeps her hairdressing skills and knowledge up to date, Over her career Sandie has trained with Wella, TiGi, Vidal Sasoon, and Master classes with Mark Hill & personal workshops with Patrick cameron. Sandie has attended the ‘Wella' Studio in Paris with some students Sandie has completed her colour Masters in Keune Headquarters in Amsterdam returning for three year running to continue updating her colour knowledge and now the salon our ambassadors to the professional Milkshake colour & product range Sandie Along with Stylist Ella Holds Their Master Extentionist Award with award winning Beauty works Hair Extentions, Awarded this recognition by Beautyworks for the strong and professional service we deliver with our Hair extensions "The last 10 year's has been very busy and I have really enjoyed every minute of it. MASTER STYLIST Tim has been with Charleys for over 13 years initially joining us as a 3rd year Apprentice completing his Advanced Hairdressing Qualification. Tim is a creative stylist with now over 13 years' experience on the salon floor and soon worked his way up Initially to 'Stylist' Status by the dedication of updating his knowledge and skills. Tim enjoys all aspects of hairdressing but loves the challenged of Creative fashion colouring and specialises in short creative cutting. Tim loves the challenge of Ombre or Balayage and has just recently updated these colouring skills by attending the 'Super Balayage' with Andrew Smith. Tim is available for online bookings but due to popularity rebooking is advised after visits ..

Sarah is a part time stylist , who amazing works also as a community Nurse, Sarah has continued to work with us during her nursing training and is know fully fledged caring for the community in different ways . Sarah continues to work part time looking after her existing clientele- Sarah is not taking new clients

MASTER STYLIST With over 10 years of experience in both ladies and gents hairdressing, Ricardo brings wealth of expertise and passion to the salon. Originally trained in Portugal, he has spent the last years building a strong and loyal clientele in the local area.
Ricardo is skilled in all aspects of hairdressing, but he has a particular talent for colour correction and Balayage - challenges he approaches with creativity and precision, as trained in the barber sector also, he has extensive experience with men's cutting and styling, making him versatile stylist for all clients. In addition to cut and colouring, Ricardo is one of our certified hair extension technicians (Remi Cachet), offering professional extension services tailored to each client's needs. Ricardo is available for bookings online and looks forward to welcoming you to the salon. |

SENIOR STYLIST

Ella has been a valued member of the Charleys team for over 9 years, beginning her journey as a Modern apprentice. She completed her initial training with outstanding results and holds a NVQ level 3 qualification in Advanced Hairdressing. Ella has built a loyal clientele thanks to her dedication, skill and passion for the industry.
Her commitment to continuous development has led her to achieve certified status as a Beauty Works Master Extension Technician, after training at the prestigious Danielle Galvin salon in London. She is highly experienced in both Beauty Works and Remi Cachet hair extensions. A talented colourist with a deep understanding of the salon services, Ella has a particular love for hair extensions and takes pride in helping clients achieve their desire look. Her warm personality and professional expertise make her a favorite among clients. Ella is available to book now. |

SENIOR STYLIST Charley’s welcomes Experienced Ladies & Gents stylist “Owen”, a great addition to our Experienced Team of stylists. Owen has over 5 Years Experience in the Hair industry Achieving his NVQ level 3 in Ladies styling . Owen is one of our Keratin & Balayage Specialists. Owen loves all aspects of Hairdressing. However he holds a passion for long hair Styling and Occasion hair up. Throughout his career Owen has continued to learn and expand his skills showing great respect for the industry, completing courses with Aveda, Davines, Allison, Joico and most recently updating his knowledge on Milkshake colour range & Respect Straightening system. Owen has recently attended Beauty works to successfully complete his extension training .. Owen is available to book online..

BB has completed her NVQ level 2 modern apprentice with Charley and has now completed her Advanced hairdressing certificate another distinction. BB is now styling full time and is building up her clientele nicely .BB has proven to be dedicated Stylist with excellent customer care . BB has recently trained in Hair Extensions - Recently attending Beautywork Head Quarters in London to successfully complete her training and will be joining Ella, Owen & Sandie in applying Nano bond and Tape extensions

Elise is our New Talent Stylist has been with the salon for over 2 years. She currently working towards her City & Guilds Level- 3 Advanced Hairdressing Qualification through a Morden apprenticeship, combining hands-on experience in the salon with formal training.Elise has completed 2 successful years and is in her finial year
Elise attends local Petroc College to further develop her hairdressing knowledge and skills.
