SandieSALON OWNER – DIRECTOR & MASTER STYLIST With more than 30 years' experience in the industry, Sandie took over ownership of Charleys in 2015, after working alongside the original team for over 8 years. She has made some additions to her team and some Major changes to the salon. Sandie is also a Qualified Educator and with over 20 years teaching experience including at our local college Petroc for over 18 years.
Charleys now holds Centership with VTCT ! Meaning Sandie can deliver certificated courses from Charleys This title enables ~Sandie to run a GCSE based VTCT Level 2 14-16 programme from the salon on Mondays working along side Braunton community College, This gives young learners at school level an opportunity to achieve a Hair and Beauty Qualification at GCSE level a great progression route leading to further education or apprenticeship within the Industry . Sandie continually keeps her hairdressing skills and knowledge up to date, Over her career Sandie has trained with Wella, TiGi, Vidal Sasoon, and Master classes with Mark Hill & personal workshops with Patrick cameron. Sandie has attended the ‘Wella' Studio in Paris with some students and current staff member Claire, Sandie has completed her colour Masters in Keune Headquarters in Amsterdam returning for three year running to continue updating her colour knowledge and now the salon our ambassadors to the professional Milkshake colour & product range Sandie Along with Stylist Ella Holds Their Master Extentionist Award with award winning Beauty works Hair Extentions, Awarded this recognition by Beautyworks for the strong and professional service we deliver with our Hair extensions "The last 10 year's has been very busy and I have really enjoyed every minute of it. OwenSENIOR STYLIST Charley’s welcomes Experienced Ladies & Gents stylist “Owen”, a great addition to our Experienced Team of stylists. Owen has over 5 Years Experience in the Hair industry Achieving his NVQ level 3 in Ladies styling and is also Barber Trained. Owen is one of our Keratin & Balayage Specialists. Owen loves all aspects of Hairdressing. However he holds a passion for long hair Styling and Occasion hair up. Throughout his career Owen has continued to learn and expand his skills showing great respect for the industry, completing courses with Aveda, Davines, Allison, Joico and most recently updating his knowledge on Milkshake colour range & Respect Straightening system. BBYEAR 3 Graduate Stylist BB is year 3 Modern apprentice, attending our local college Petroc one day a week and one evening in salon training with Salon owner Sandie. BB has completed her NVQ level 2 modern apprentice with Charley and is now working towards her Advanced hairdressing certificate .BB alongside our existing apprentices holds a very important role with in our salon... BB is now working more hands on with clients with colour application, foiling, Balayage, cut and blow drys & styling hairdressing services . BB has proven to be dedicated assistant with excellent customer care. BB has taken these skill into her Graduate styling post and continues to looking after the clients whilst running a supported column *Please note all of our apprentices at all levels receive full & ongoing training before any assistance with all levels of services

Sarah
Master stylist
Sarah is a part time stylist , who amazing works also as a community Nurse, Sarah has continued to work with us during her nursing training and is know fully fledged caring for the community in different ways . Sarah continues to work part time looking after her existing clientele- Sarah is not taking new clients

AbiMASTER STYLIST Abi holds her advanced hairdressing qualification, and has been with Charleys for over 13 years ,achieving Student of the Year for 2 years running whilst carrying out her hairdressing training. Abi showed a passion for the industry straight away. Starting at Charleys on an apprenticeship, Abi has over 12 years experience in the industry and runs a busy clientele. Abi enjoys all aspects of hairdressing and is trained in Ladies and Gents Hair cutting and styling , recently attending the NOVO CABELLO mens hair replacement systems, now available in salon . Abi also carries out our Keratin Complex Treatments, Abi continue to show passion for cutting, balayage and all aspects of her role as a stylist - available to book online

TimMASTER STYLIST Tim has been with Charleys for over 13 years initially joining us as a 3rd year Apprentice completing his Advanced Hairdressing Qualification. Tim is a creative stylist with now over 13 years' experience on the salon floor and soon worked his way up Initially to 'Stylist' Status by the dedication of updating his knowledge and skills. Tim enjoys all aspects of hairdressing but loves the challenged of Creative fashion colouring and creative cutting. Tim loves the challenge of Ombre or Balayage and has just recently updated these colouring skills by attending the 'Super Balayage' with Andrew Smith. Tim is available for online bookings but due to popularity rebooking is advised after visits ..

AmberModern Apprentice Full time Apprentice Amber Is our most Recent member of the Team. Amber has recently moved from London. Amber will be working along side the Charleys team assisting in all aspects of hairdressing services. Amber will soon be attending Petroc to support her learning and will be working toward completing her NVQ level 2 & 3 Hairdressing Qualification with us

RicardoMASTER STYLIST Ricardo holds over 9 years Hairdressing Experience in Ladies and Gents hairdressing Ricardo learnt his craft in Portugal and has been working locally for over 5 year building a strong clientele. Ricardo loves all aspects of hairdressing but loves the challenge of colour correction and Balayage. Along side this Ricardo is one of our hair Extension technicians and also an experienced in Ladies and Gents Cutting and styling -Ricardo is available to book online

EllaSENIOR STYLIST Stylist Ella has been with Charleys for over 4 years, From a wee Modern apprentice to now a fully fledged stylist !.. . Ella completed her first two years of her hairdressing Qualification with flying colours ! & NOW HOLDS her NVQ Level 3 advanced Hairdressing . Ella has built up a strong clientele int his time, we are all super proud of her hard work, determination and respect for the industry
Ella has shown a real commitment and passion to the industry so far. In her time with Charleys Ella has Trained and been awarded a well deserved Beauty Works Extension Technician status , after attending the accredited 'Danielle Galvin' salon in London, the salon has been awarded 'Beauty Works Masters' Ella is now work along side Sandie fitting our popular BeautyWorks Hair extensions and is also one of our 'K respect' smoothing and straightening system Technicians . Ella is a strong colourist and has already building up a clientele quickly , she loves all aspects of the salon and a major soft spot for any type of Extensions !! Ella is available to book online |
