This qualification will develop you knowledge, understanding and skills to enable you to advise and consult with clients on the type of hair cut and facial hair shaping the way they want, but just as importantly what is suitable for them. You will also learn how to work in a safe manner throughout the service protecting both yourself and your clients.
By the end of the course you will be confident and experienced, after working on clients throughout your qualification, ensuring your time is focused on developing your skill.

- cutting men's hair – Sectioning, scissor over comb, building the structure of haircut
- clipper work – blending, fading, clipper over comb
- cutting facial hair – beard and moustache trimming
- style and finish techniques
- following health and safety in the salon.
